Automating the laptop/netbook (and soon tablet/e-reader!) checkout process has proven to be a success technologically, operationally and in terms of self-service setting the stage for a series of internal Library and University Programs that we are supporting starting in CO, CA, UT, OH , NC, VA, PA, IL, WI, MN and NY. Additional programs representing other geographies will follow. We are providing custom software integration with ILS and Student Database Systems. As soon as is practical, we will post a range of videos/case studies to document best practices.
We take what the facility is already doing with mobile computer checkout and we automate it with our kiosk solutions.
